A laid-back "light" route from Finike along the Lycian coast. Short passages between anchorages, ancient Myra with its Lycian rock tombs, the sunken city of Kekova right beneath the keel, the charming town of Kaş and the wild bays of Gökkaya Gulf. More rest and history, fewer miles.

  1. Finike → Andrea Dorya — day 1 of the route

    A start from Finike marina and the first bay.

    Airport pickup and transfer to Finike marina, boarding and provisioning, the passage to Andrea Dorya bay, a first swim and fishing.

  2. Demre (Myra) — day 2 of the route

    Demre (Myra)

    Ancient Myra and Lycian tombs.

    The ruins and museum of ancient Myra, the Church of St Nicholas, Lycian rock tombs, swimming, SUP and the beach.

    🌙 Overnight: Demre (anchor or berth)

  3. Kekova — day 3 of the route

    Kekova

    A sunken city beneath the water.

    Snorkelling over the sunken city, a fish restaurant ashore, SUP and swimming in crystal-clear water.

  4. Underwater Museum — day 4 of the route

    Underwater Museum

    A buoy over the underwater museum and a sunken plane.

    We arrive around 3 pm and pick up a buoy above the underwater museum. Some head to the beach by dinghy, others paddle the SUP and spot statues scattered across the seabed; for those who love to dive we hand out masks and fins — dive down to the sunken plane, amphorae and ancient statues.

  5. Kaş — day 5 of the route

    Kaş

    The Lion Tomb and a cosy town.

    Snorkelling over ruins at 5–6 m depth, a walk around Kaş, the market and fish restaurants, diving with an instructor (by prior booking).

  6. Gökkaya Gulf — day 6 of the route

    Gökkaya Gulf

    Wild bays and the Lycian Way.

    Snorkelling, SUP, spearfishing, short hikes along the Lycian Way to ancient ruins.

  7. Back to Finike — day 7 of the route

    Back to Finike

    The return passage and an evening in town.

    A calm passage to Finike, an evening stroll along the promenade, the beach and dinner at a restaurant.

    Finike (disembarkation)

    Breakfast and the airport transfer.

    Breakfast, packing, the transfer to the airport.

How demanding are the passages?

The route is "light": passages are short — from 30 minutes to 3–4 hours — with plenty of time for swimming and rest in between. The skipper picks the calmest legs based on the weather.
